Vestas Secures 72 MW Wind Energy Project Order in Germany

Vestas has received a 72 MW order from Denker & Wulf AG for the Holtsee wind energy project in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The project will see Vestas supplying ten V162-7.2 MW wind turbines, including the full scope of supply, delivery, and commissioning.

Sulai Fahimi, Vestas Vice President Sales Central, commented, “This order from Denker & Wulf AG highlights the efficiency of our EnVentus platform. The V162-7.2 MW turbines are ideally suited for the site, offering high annual production and excellent cost of energy for our customer.”

Upon project completion, Vestas will provide maintenance under a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring optimal performance of the turbines. Turbine delivery is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning slated for the first half of 2026.
