Over the past several months Vestas has secured a string of significant orders across diverse global regions.

Today, Vestas said it received orders for 950 MW in the USA. Vestas did not reveal its projects in the United States. Vestas also won several wind power projects recently.

In Canada, Vestas received a 124 MW order from EDF Power Solutions North America to deliver 20 EnVentus V162-6.2 MW turbines for the Haute-Chaudière project in Québec, paired with a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Deliveries are slated to begin in Q2 2026, with commissioning expected by late 2026.

In Germany, Vestas landed a 62 MW onshore contract from MIBRAG (part of EPH) for the Profen II project, involving 10 V162-6.2 MW turbines and a 20-year service deal, with delivery set for Q1 2026 and commissioning in Q1 2027.

Vestas also cemented its leadership in offshore wind by finalizing the 1.1 GW Inch Cape Offshore Wind project in Scotland, to supply 72 V236-15.0 MW turbines along with a 10-year service package and long-term operational support. Installation is to begin in 2026, with the project becoming fully operational by 2027.

Beyond these, Vestas secured a massive offshore order for RWE’s Nordseecluster B in Germany, spanning 900 MW with 60 V236-15.0 MW turbines. The scope includes supply, delivery, commissioning, and a five-year service agreement followed by extended operational support. Execution is expected for installation in 2028 and commercial operation in early 2029.

Vestas has secured a 40MW turbine order in Poland from a confidential client, involving V110-2.0 MW turbines operating in 2.2MW mode. The contract covers supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning, supported by a 20-year Active Output Management 4000 service agreement to ensure optimized performance. With a customer-focused approach, Vestas offers long-term service support and operational efficiency. Innovation lies in turbine optimization for local wind conditions. Benefits include reduced carbon emissions, increased renewable capacity, enhanced energy security, and local economic stimulation.

On the financial front, Vestas reported a strong turnaround in Q1 2025, with an operating profit of €14 million (versus a loss of €68 million a year earlier) and a 36 percent year-over-year increase in order intake, totaling 3,135 MW, all while maintaining its full-year revenue and margin outlook.
