Vestas bags order from Vizia for Siri and Deca wind parks

Vestas V155-3.3 MW wind turbine

Vestas has received a 32 MW order from gruppo De Vizia for the Siri and Deca wind parks, to be located in the Campania Region, Italy.

The contract includes the supply and installation of four V136-4.5 MW and three V150-4.5 MW, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

“The two wind parks are part of a wider wind portfolio  where we have implemented different Vestas platforms with satisfaction both for Vestas and us,” said Nicola De Vizia, from gruppo De Vizia.

“The versatility of Vestas’ 4MW platform and its latest models allow our customers to maximize the energy production at wind parks with different characteristics,” says Vestas General Manager Italy & Turkey, Francesco Amati.

Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned for the second half of 2023.

Vestas said it leads the Italian wind energy market with 4.9 GW of wind capacity installed. Italy has installed over 11.1 GW of onshore wind capacity and aims at reaching 18.4 GW by 2030 according to the national energy and climate plan (NECP).
