Torque Wind Turbine is exhibiting the world’s most advanced small wind turbine at the Clean Tech Business Day on December 9th 2014 in Rotterdam of The Netherlands.
The show will provide an opportunity for manufacturers, investors, installers and customers to experience the performance of this new wind turbine.
The Torque Wind Turbine is unique in many ways. It can achieve high starting torque immediately at very low wind speeds, producing lot of energy from low wind speeds, and reacting instantly on wind gusts and wind direction changes.
A major advantage of the design is its relative low height and the complete wind turbine is like a plug and play concept.
In addition, the Torque Wind Turbine design will ensure constant energy production even in severe weather conditions. Besides, the high wind speed performance will help in making inland and seaside locations viable installation locations.
The grid overcapacity as well as overload is not an issue as it is easy to regulate wind energy conversion between 100 to 0 percent. Even when there is wind, the zero percent conversion modes will allow performance of safe maintenance.
On integrating the turbine with solar cell energy, all round electricity production can be achieved, making it completely useful for various applications.
In case, one or more Torque Wind Turbines are combined with a back-up system, total electricity generation can be achieved by becoming independent from the public grid network.
The payback time depends on local wind activity, current cost for electricity, lower cost for the public grid electricity connection, shipment cost, groundwork cost, permit cost and installation cost.
Deliveries of the Torque Wind Turbine will begin in 2016.
