Electronic Recyclers International opens new world headquarters in Fresno

Greentech Lead America:Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), a recycler of electronic waste, has opened new world headquarters and executive offices in North Fresno.The new offices are spread across 11,000 square foot at 7815 N. Palm, at Park Place in the Palm Bluffs Business Park.

“We’re very proud of our Fresno roots here at ERI,” said John Shegerian, chairman and CEO of ERI, “so when our consistent growth necessitated a move to a larger space for our executive team, we knew we would stay in town and continue growing from here.”

With global e-waste recycling and reuse market to reach USD 18,268.3 million in 2017 (Transparency
Market Research), ERI is likely to benefit from the expansion.

The global e-waste services market has grown from USD 8,682 million in 2010 to USD 9,828.0 million in 2012. Recycled metals are the largest revenue generating segment accounting for about 53.7 percent revenue of the e-waste recycled components market in 2012.

ERI, according to company sources, is now the largest privately held recycler of electronic waste in the US, and the world’s first dual-certified electronic waste recycler. The company is licensed to de-manufacture and recycle televisions, computer monitors, computers and other types of electronic equipment.

ERI serves public sector clients via GSA contract GS-10F-0051Y and processes more than 200 million pounds of electronic waste annually at eight locations in seven states, including California, Washington, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Texas and North Carolina.
