Trina Solar has signed an agreement to supply 82MW of its anti-Potential Induced Degradation (PID) modules to Sihong Tianganghu PV Power Generation for a solar plant located in Jiangsu Province.
Trina Solar has settled to supply around 320,000 TSM-PC05A modules with power outputs of 245 Wp, 250Wp and 255 Wp.
These modules are of highest anti-PID level available currently in market with 85°C / 85percent relative humidity.
All modules possess a 25-year linear power output performance guarantee.
The modules shipments will be completed by the end of 2014.
This unique project consist of one of the first large-scale power plants, designed according to an 85°C / 85 percent relative humidity anti-PID standards.
Trina Solar is committed to product innovation that has integrated R&D successes into solar products. The focus is on enhancing product performance, reducing costs and delivering commercial and financial benefits to customers, said Zhiguo Zhu, president, Module Business Unit, Trina Solar.
These anti-PID modules with the help of cell optimization and manufacturing technologies reduce the loss in solar panel power output caused by conditions like high voltage, severe salt mist and high humidity.
