TPS to supply 10 MW modules to LN Bangur Rajasthan project

Tata Power Solar (TPS) announced that it has won a DCR for the supply of modules to JNNSM phase-2 batch-1.

The company will provide required modules for the 10 MW project to be built by Palimarwar Solar Project in Rajasthan for L N BANGUR Renewable Energy.

The 45,000 modules for the project will be manufactured at TPS’ Bangalore facility.

TPS was finalized for the project jointly by Palimarwar Solar, L N BANGUR and IBC Solar, EPC Company from Germany.

For the past 25 years, TPS have built some of the best manufacturing capabilities and offer world-class modules at competitive prices, thus putting in a critical position to contribute to the success of JNNSM, said, Rahul Budhwar, vice president, Manufacturing and Business Development, TPS.

Recently, L N BANGUR Group has commissioned their first project in Bhadla in the Rajasthan Solar Park for 5.5 MW.

Recently, TPS announced a 60 percent increase in module manufacturing capacity, and the Bangalore facility now consist of 200 MW total capacity.

In a recent initiative, TPS made an agreement to supply 1 lakh domestically manufactured solar panels to ACME’s 20 MW JNNSM project in Rajasthan. TPS has won DCR orders of JNNSM phase-2 batch-1 and the company will supply for the 20 MW (AC) project to be built by ACME Solar.

Under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) policy of MNRE for the phase-2 of JNNSM a total of 375MW of solar power plants will be built using domestically produced cells and modules.
