Tata Power Solar, providers of solar EPC technology and services, has commissioned 3 MW rooftop projects in Gujarat.
Spread across 62 sites in different cities, the project was primarily meant for government bodies including Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC).
GEDA has installed a power project of 1.2 MW capacity meanwhile SMC has commissioned a 750 KW power plant. Power project at GEDA was implemented in 34 cities across the state with a capacity of producing 1.8 million units of energy. The 750 KW SMC project spreads over 14 sites and was commissioned in three months.

SMC commenced its own solar energy production with a 100 KW solar panel and within a year the production reached 1.35 lakh units.
Tata Power Solar recently announced it has achieved 500 MW renewable energy capacity with the commissioning of a new solar power plant in Maharashtra.
The company has committed 20-25 percent contribution in the field of renewable energy generated from sources like wind, waste, solar, gas and geothermal.
