SunPower reported revenue of $352.9 million in the second quarter of 2020 as compared with $436.3 million in the first quarter and $449.2 million in the same quarter last year.
SunPower said it expects revenue of $360 million to $400 million, gross margin of 0 percent to 5 percent and net loss of $110 million to $95 million during the third quarter of 2020.
“Overall, we saw improving trends in our global DG business throughout the quarter with particular strength in our U.S. channels business where the investments in our digital initiatives enabled us to transition to an on-line model,” Tom Werner, SunPower CEO and chairman, said.
