Sunbelt International secures new renewable energy project in Brazil

By Greentech Lead America: Sunbelt International has
signed a letter of intent to secure a major construction project in the
northeastern state of Ceara, Brazil. Qingdao Xingguang Wind Power will deploy
its CE ISO certified wind/solar turbines for this project.

Due to recent government legislative revisions in Brazil,
the solar market in the country is projected to realize a 350 percent growth
rate in 2012, and continue to grow exponentially for the next several years.

Brazil announces new policies to boost Rooftop Solar Market

Brazilian power regulator ANEEL has announced new rules
to boost rooftop panel sales in Brazil. The new policies target rooftop panel
sales to $3 billion within 20 years.

Sunbelt International is also working in partnership with
Institutional Investors as well as Investment Banks that have a focus in the
solar energy sector. These relationships will potentially secure funding
sources to execute on the aforementioned business opportunity.

“The new affiliation with this state in Brazil will
provide Sunbelt International great opportunities to develop future projects in
this area. This project will also provide valuable insight from local
governments who are currently drafting incentives to boost investment in solar
power. The government grants will lower start up costs and attract new
investors towards these environmentally sustainable projects,” said Fang
Soo Liu Sunbelt International president.
