SolarSense has achieved the commissioning and financing of 2.15 megawatts of net metering projects that employs AllEarth Solar Trackers.

All five solar tracking projects were net metered and commissioned in Vermont in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Among the projects were three, 500 kilowatt (kW) solar projects for the State of Vermont at subsidized rates to government utilities.

The other two projects supply solar power to businesses in Vermont including Danforth Pewter, Gardener’s Supply, and Wake Robin.

AllEarth Solar Trackers were used for all five projects, which track the sun throughout the day to maximize energy production.

The 24-panel dual-axis trackers are equipped with efficient SunPower solar photovoltaic (PV) panels.

Further in 2015-16, SolarSense and AllEarth jointly plan to develop and finance 6MW of net metering projects for State of Vermont facilities.

In September 2014, AllEarth Renewables and Claire Solar completed a 2.2 MW solar photovoltaic tracker farm in South Burlington.

The project considered as largest in North America utilized distributed inverters and dual-axis trackers to maximize production.

In addition, the first fully pivoting AllEarth solar trackers were installed for a food processing company in Rhode Island recently which will start generating power by the end of October.
