Saatvik Solar, a solar PV module manufacturer in India, has signed an agreement with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to supply 213 MW of solar PV modules.
L&T Energy’s 245 MW Bihar Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project includes a 185 MW grid-connected solar PV power plant and a 45.4 MW 4-hour battery storage system in the Kajra district.
Saatvik Solar will provide its Mono PERC Bifacial Modules of 545 Wp, which feature advanced glass-to-back sheet technology. These modules are known for their durability and performance, making them well-suited for large-scale solar installations. The delivery of these modules is expected to be completed by March 2025.
Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Solar, stated, “This order represents a major milestone for Saatvik Solar and underscores our commitment to advancing India’s clean energy landscape.”
Saatvik Solar is working on advanced solutions such as half-cut modules, and premium modules featuring cutting-edge ‘0 buzz bar’ and ‘24 buzz bar’ technology. Beyond module manufacturing, the company is also exploring opportunities in electrolyser battery manufacturing and energy storage solutions.
With a current production capacity of 3.8 GW as of FY24-25, Saatvik Solar is poised to become a leader not only in India’s renewable energy market but also on a global scale.
