JinkoSolar to supply 49.8-MW panels for Durango TAI project in Mexico

Chinese solar manufacturer JinkoSolar has partnered with Mexican conglomerate TSK Group to supply 49.8 megawatts of photovoltaic solar modules for Durango TAI, “the largest solar plant in Mexico”.

Durango TAI is being developed by Eosol Energy de Mexico and TSK subsidiary Electronica y Electricidad. It is to be built in the Mexican state Durango and will also be the first such project in Mexico to be connected to the country’s national power system.

The power project is currently in the second stage of construction under phase one. According to a statement, the project is to be developed in five phases. And as much as 49.8 MW of capacity is expected to be added this year.

Duango TAI is currently being developed by Eosol Energy de Mexico, SAPI de CV and TSK will manage it on completion.
