JinkoSolar intros high voltage energy storage battery in Europe

JinkoSolar Holding, a leading manufacturer of solar modules, has introduced its Second Generation High Voltage Energy Storage Battery in the European market.

The upgraded product, known as the JKR-B1250~2750-A (high voltage G2 battery), has been specifically designed to meet the energy storage requirements of residential and small commercial applications.

The key feature of this product is the Jinko HV battery, which boasts a single pack capacity of 3.84 kWh and utilizes a cell capable of achieving 6,000 cycles at room temperature (25°C). With a capacity range of 11.52 kWh to 134.4 kWh, the product offers flexibility to cater to various client demands.

One of the notable advancements is the wireless interconnection between packs, enabling seamless integration. The battery supports a charging and discharging current of 45 A, allowing efficient energy transfer. It also facilitates the connection of 3-7 packs per rack and allows direct parallel connection between racks, providing versatile installation options.

Ensuring safety is of utmost importance, the product is equipped with IP65 protection and features a cell-level anti-fire design. Moreover, the heating system allows for a wider operating temperature range, and the battery incorporates three levels of isolation and BMS (Battery Management System) protection logic, further enhancing safety measures.

Frank Niendorf, the General Manager Europe for JinkoSolar, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products tailored to meet the specific needs of customers in the European region.
