ET Solar commissions 7.8 MWp power plant for Israel’s EDF Energies Nouvelles

ET Solar Energy, a provider of smart energy solutions, announced that its German EPC subsidiary ET Solutions, based in Munich, Germany, has commissioned a 7.8 megawatt (MWp) PV power plant in Israel for utility provider EDF Energies Nouvelles.

Located in Mishmar Hanegev, approximately 100 km south of Tel-Aviv, the project was constructed in cooperation with ET Solar’s Israeli partners G-Systems and Elmor.

This new solar power facility will generate over 13.8 million kilowatt hours of clean and renewable energy each year, ET Solar said.

ET Solar provided electrical design and plant layout, quality control, construction supervision, and commissioning services.

Dennis She, president and CEO of ET Solar, said, “The successful completion of this project demonstrated that our EPC service is further recognized by global top ranked investors and utility suppliers for its quality standards and execution ability.”

ET Solar is also partnering with local partners thus creating a competitive advantage for them in their local markets. “It’s a win-win for both of us and our partners,” She added.

ET Solar has been active in Israel since 2009 with a robust growth of market share reaching cumulatively over 40 megawatts (MWp) in module sales and successful projects.
