Dynamic Solar commissions 152 kW solar system at Sandy Hill Camp

Greentech Lead America: Dynamic Solar, an integrated energy
developer, has commissioned a 152 kW Solar System at Sandy Hill Camp and
Retreat Center. The system will generate around 185,000 hours of energy
annually enough to power the 220-acre facilities.

“We are excited to be able to showcase renewable energy
to the thousands of campers, parents, and retreat guests who come to reconnect
with the outdoors and to enjoy the beauty of camp on the Chesapeake Bay each
year,” said Greg Joseph, director of Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center.

Dynamic Solar has constructed the project in
partnership with AUI. The system is expected to offset 127 metric tons of CO2
each year equivalent to removing 625 cars from Maryland’s roads over the system’s
25 year warranted lifetime.

“Sandy Hill is the ideal place for solar, a
beautiful camp facility making a sound economic investment in clean, renewable
energy. We were delighted to have been a part of this construction and
congratulate the Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center team on going solar,”
said Michael R. Cromer, vice president of operations, Dynamic Solar.

Dynamic Solar and USDA recently announced the completion of a solar array project on Sikking
Farm, Incorporated.
