Sparta Consulting wins SAP ERP implementation contract from Loudoun Water

By Greentech Lead America: Sparta Consulting, a KPIT
Cummins company, received a multi-million dollar contract for the modernization
and implementation of an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
for the Loudoun County Sanitation Authority (“Loudoun Water”). Sparta
will serve as the primary systems integrator for the project.

Loudoun Water provides water and wastewater services in
central and eastern Loudoun County, Virginia.

Sparta will replace Loudoun’s core business information
systems with the SAP ERP application. These business applications support the
daily activities of each department and have a direct impact on Loudoun Water’s
operational agility and customer service.

Sparta’s proposed solution will include all SAP software
licenses, hardware and complete implementation services delivered over an
aggressive, 14-month timeline based on the Sparta Utilities North America
Solution (SUNAS).

This solution will transform Loudoun Water’s ability to
meet future challenges by allowing it to improve customer service, increase
operational efficiency, and enhance fiscal stewardship.

“Loudoun Water selected Sparta as our implementation
partner because their best-in-class, integrated vision connects with our drive
to leverage technology to optimize our business practices,” said Dale
Hammes, General Manager, Loudoun Water.

Sparta’s solutions will help Loudoun Water transform
business processes to meet current and future challenges, implement an
integrated enterprise-class computing framework to facilitate continuous
improvement and increase productivity and mobility.

“Sparta’s commitment to the utilities industry
enables us to partner with customers by providing complete technology solutions
delivered by world-class practitioners and domain specialists. Our expertise is
deeply rooted in Sparta’s mission to enable our clients’ success so they can
operate at the highest levels of operational and financial excellence,” said
Aasim Hasan, executive vice president, Sparta Consulting.
