Neosilica to develop green energy smart solutions

NeoSilica, a provider of smart grid technology solutions, will expand their business to renewable energy performance management solutions.

The Smart Energy SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) solution provided by the Company captures a critical energy performance of a solar plant by utilizing data analytics and updates it through a cloud-based software solution relaying it real time, noted, Satyam Bheemarasetti, CEO, Neosilica.

Generally, most of the plants collect plant functioning related data, downtime issues and distribution failures through manual ways, emails, spreadsheets and other checks.

The Smart Energy solution plans to update it and integrate the plant performance data from various locations by combining cloud technology.

The city-based Cirus Solar will deploy the solution for setting up a 6-Mw solar plant in Nalgonda, Hyderabad.

Neosilica shot into success with the public sector major BHEL.

The Company was able to save 226,000 units of power last year by switching to energy management solutions deployed by Neosilica under Smart Buildings, noted, GSD Gupta, deputy general manager, BHEL, Hyderabad.

Besides, the smart solution helped entire BHEL office complex to manage power utilization–like automatic power off during intervals and controlled and effective air conditioning.

The entire investment was recovered in one year and the company is now actively considering deploying SCADA solution at its other offices pan-India, added Gupta.
