Smart metering solutions provider Itron has been selected as the leader in global water meter market, according to IMS Research.
The report, World Market for Water Meters—2013 Edition, authored by Nicole Tuggle, estimates Itron to hold a 10 percent share of demand for Total Water Meter unit shipments.
The IMS report, which assessed the annual water meter sales globally, found that Itron’s reliable water metering technology is shipped to more customers around the world than any other meter supplier.
Itron is also ranked a top supplier across a number of smart water metering categories in Latin America, EMEA and North America.
