SERMATEC has introduced a 5.1MW/17.8MWh energy storage system in Bulgaria, aimed at enhancing solar power efficiency for commercial and industrial use.

Addressing Solar Overproduction: The new system addresses challenges faced by photovoltaic plant operators who previously struggled with excess solar power generation, enabling better management of supply and demand and reducing reliance on grid power at night.

High Capacity and Efficiency: With the capability to store over 6.5 million kWh annually, the storage solution prevents negative pricing from excess generation and facilitates active participation in electricity market trading.

Advanced Technology Integration: The project utilizes 48 SERMATEC EasyCube Series energy storage units, featuring advanced 3.2V 280Ah LFP batteries, achieving a conversion efficiency of up to 99 percent and a design life exceeding 15 years.

Real-Time Monitoring and Safety Features: The energy storage system incorporates SERMATEC’s self-developed Energy Management System (EMS) and Battery Management System (BMS), enabling real-time operation monitoring and extending battery life through intelligent management.
