Brookfield and Microsoft to develop 10.5 GW of renewable energy costing $10 bn

Brookfield Asset Management and Microsoft will develop new wind and solar farms targeting over 10.5 GWs of new renewable energy capacity.

Brookfield aims to deliver the new renewable energy capacity between 2026 and 2030 in the U.S. and Europe, a Microsoft spokesperson told Reuters in an emailed statement.

Financial Times reported that the 10.5 GWs of new capacity would cost more than $10 billion.
