RSDCL Floats EPC Tender for 2.45 GW Solar Park Power Evacuation in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Solar Park Development (RSDCL) has issued an EPC tender for developing the power evacuation system of a 2.45 GW solar park in Bikaner. The tender is split into three lots and includes construction of 220/400 kV substations and transmission lines. Bidders must demonstrate prior experience in similar high-voltage infrastructure and meet financial eligibility norms. The project aims to facilitate grid integration of large-scale solar power.
WorldOne Energies Commissions 1.2 GW High-Speed Solar Module Line in Nagpur
WorldOne Energies has inaugurated a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Nagpur, Maharashtra, to produce its Supreme Series n-type TOPCon monocrystalline bifacial modules, ranging from 525 Wp to 650 Wp. The advanced line operates 33 percent faster than standard Indian production lines, featuring India’s largest chamber laminators for enhanced throughput and quality. The modules, built with 144 or 156 half-cut cells, offer efficiencies up to 23.26 percent, catering to residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. The company plans to expand its module capacity to 7 GW by 2027 and 10 GW by 2030, alongside establishing a scalable 2 GW solar cell facility.
Ameresco SUNEL Energy wins €303.4 million EPC contract
Ameresco SUNEL Energy, a joint venture between Ameresco and SUNEL Group, has announced the signing of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts worth €303.4 million for the development of three large-scale solar parks in southwestern Romania. These projects, totaling 466 megawatts peak (MWp), mark a significant step forward in Romania’s efforts to transition from coal to renewable energy. The initiative aligns with the country’s commitment to phase out coal-fired power generation by 2032 and represents a major advancement in its pursuit of energy security, economic development, and climate goals.
Ameresco SUNEL Energy will oversee all aspects of the projects, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operation and maintenance. The projects will incorporate more than 757,000 fixed-tilt solar modules aimed at optimizing energy efficiency and output. These solar parks are expected to significantly reduce environmental impact, with an estimated annual offset of approximately 734,789 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
