GE Vernova plans to invest over $10 million in its Pittsburgh facility over the next two years, creating more than 270 jobs and expanding its Electrification segment.

The investment includes a new domestic manufacturing line for the FLEXINVERTER, a key technology for utility-scale solar and energy storage.

The move coincides with the launch of GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business, aimed at addressing increasing demand for power stability and energy storage.

GE Vernova said the expanded facility will support multiple industries, enhance U.S. energy independence, and contribute to decarbonization goals. The company continues to drive the energy transition with innovations like the 2000V FLEXINVERTER and RESTORE DC Block.
