Samsung selects Foster Wheeler for waste heat recovery unit in Thailand

Greentech Lead Europe: Foster Wheeler, a global
engineering and construction company, announced today that a subsidiary of its
Global Engineering and Construction Group has been selected by Samsung to
supply a waste heat recovery unit for PTT Public Company‘s (PTT) Power
Generation and Heat Recovery project at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Complex in
Thailand.

Foster Wheeler will design, engineer and supply the waste
heat recovery unit. The unit includes a selective catalytic reduction system
and other associated equipment. Foster Wheeler will deliver the waste heat
recovery unit to the site during the third-quarter of 2013.

PTT has contracted with Samsung for engineering,
procurement and construction and pre-commissioning for this project. In 2010,
Foster Wheeler delivered two similar waste heat recovery units to Samsung for
PTT. The design for all three units is in accordance with applicable
environmental standards.
