Larson Electronics, a provider of LED lighting solutions, has introduced a new series of explosion proof high bay light fixtures as an alternative to conventional location luminaries.

Categorized into Class 1 Division 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2, these explosion proof fixtures provide  37,500 lumens of light by absorbing only 450 watts.

The LED light comes with a powder coated copper free aluminum alloy body, featuring multiple LED drivers which provide durability and resistance to vibration and impacts, needed for hazardous locations.

The fixtures are available in pendant and swivel mount brackets.

The unique design and the supporting LED technology of the fixtures ensure dissipation of heat, helping achieve 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80 percent lumen retention.

The EPLC2-HB-3X150LED-RT LED fixture contains thirty-six individual LED boards organized in a series of banks, each bank containing two LED boards with an individual driver.

In case of a driver failure, only one bank of LEDs will get damaged with the other banks not getting affected. If an LED gets failed, the mating LED will continue the operation.

The multi-voltage LEDs can be operated between 100-277 volts AC without the need of any ballast. The explosion-proof LEDs are ideal for use in hazardous conditions like paint spray booths and similar environments.

Larson Electronics offers a wide range of LED light towers, portable power distributions, explosion proof lights for hazardous locations, portable work lights and industrial grade LED area lights.
