Ephesus Lighting has been finalized for the LED lighting installation at the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Tobyhanna, PA.

Ephesus will provide 2,458 of its Altus, Luxor and Artemis fixtures in 113 buildings and several outdoor lots.

The fact that one of the most technologically advanced military installations has made the decision to switch nearly 75 percent of their lighting to LED speaks volumes to the benefits of the solution, said, Amy Casper, CEO, Ephesus Lighting.

The choice is obvious when facility operators understand how the solution provides better quality lighting that is maintenance-free, with just a fraction of the energy consumption, added Casper.

Already, many military facilities have adapted Ephesus LED lights including Fort Drum and the US Naval Academy and Tobyhanna is one among them.

Ephesus initially established itself as the leader in the sports and entertainment industry by illuminating the first sports venue in North America with LED technology in 2012.

Since then, Ephesus lights have been operational for over 100,000 hours in 100 venues including University of Phoenix Stadium, home of Arizona Cardinals and the 2015 Super Bowl and the Canadian Tire Centre, home of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.

Ephesus manufactures the brightest LED on the market, listed under Design Light Consortium’s (DLC) quality, performance and energy efficiency requirements.

They are able to receive energy incentives from utility providers due to DLC certification enables facilities.
