Greentech Lead Asia: Reed Exhibitions Japan announced the
WIND EXPO 2013 will be held within World Smart Energy Week 2013, a collective
gathering of 8 specialized exhibitions and conferences related to
renewable/smart energy.
WIND EXPO 2013 is the first exhibition and conference in
Japan specialized in wind energy and concurrent shows.
The attitude towards renewable energy has changed in
Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima
Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster. An increasing number of people are
willing to switch from nuclear to renewable
sources such as Photovoltaic and Wind energy.
Japan’s market potential in the wind sector is forecasted
to grow from current 3.6 billion JPY to 12.9 billion JPY by 2015.
Reed Exhibitions Japan believes that WIND EXPO 2013 will
be valued by many present and prospective participants of World Smart Energy
Week and will expand opportunities and form a greater business platform for the
renewable energy industry.
An opening presentation/briefing for WIND EXPO 2013 will
be held on June 11, 2012 from 2pm at Shinbashi Dai-ichi Hotel, Tokyo.
Many professionals such as wind turbine manufacturers and
wind energy generating system manufacturers will participate in WIND EXPO 2013
and present their thoughts. The participants also reveal the plans for the next
5 years.
