Suzlon Wins 200 MW Ayana Wind Order in Madhya Pradesh
Suzlon has secured a 200 MW wind-turbine order from Ayana Renewable Power for a project in Madhya Pradesh, India. The contract covers 64 S144 wind turbine generators, each rated at 3.15 MW. It is Suzlon’s first order from Ayana and expands the turbine maker’s position in India’s fast-growing commercial and utility-scale wind market. The project also marks Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The company’s scope includes turbine supply and associated project execution. The order arrives as India accelerates toward higher wind additions alongside solar, hybrid and round-the-clock renewable projects. Vestas Secures 105 MW Across Two Italian Wind Projects
Vestas has secured two wind-turbine orders in Italy totalling 105 MW, strengthening its order book in one of Southern Europe’s key onshore-wind markets. The contracts cover two separate projects and include turbine supply along with long-term service arrangements. GreenIT, the renewable-energy joint venture between Eni gas e luce – Plenitude and CDP Equity, has started electricity production at two solar farms in Italy with combined capacity of around 19 MW. The commissioning moves both projects from construction into commercial generation and expands GreenIT’s operating solar portfolio. The projects form part of the company’s strategy to build renewable assets across Italy, with a particular focus on utility-scale solar and wind. Although modest individually, the two plants add tangible operating capacity and represent another execution milestone for GreenIT as Italy accelerates PV deployment.
