Servotech Renewable Wins 1415 kW Solar Rooftop Project from South Central Railway

Servotech Renewable Power System has secured a 1415 kW solar rooftop project order from the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway, expanding its role in India’s public-sector renewable energy initiatives. The company will handle the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across multiple railway sites. Awarded through a competitive bidding process, the project supports Indian Railways’ strategy to increase renewable energy adoption and reduce carbon emissions through sustainable infrastructure. Director Sarika Bhatia said the project highlights the growing momentum for clean energy integration across critical infrastructure while strengthening Servotech Renewable’s institutional order book and government-sector presence.

Fervo Acquires BayWa r.e.’s Solar EPC Business in Italy

Fervo has acquired BayWa  Power Solutions from BayWa r.e. AG to strengthen its renewable energy capabilities in Italy. The acquired business specialises in the development, engineering, procurement and construction of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, battery storage and integrated energy solutions.  The Verona-based company has installed more than 120MWp of solar capacity, generates annual revenue exceeding €20 million, and brings a significant project pipeline and over 340 employees into Fervo’s expanding energy division.  The acquisition supports Fervo’s target of reaching €100 million in revenue this year and highlights growing investment in integrated renewable energy services. The deal strengthens expertise across the solar value chain, enhances customer support for decarbonisation strategies, and reinforces innovation in Italy’s fast-growing clean energy market.

LONGi Secures BloombergNEF Tier 1 Energy Storage Ranking

LONGi has been recognized as a Tier 1 Energy Storage Manufacturer in BloombergNEF’s Q2 2026 report, marking the eighth consecutive quarter the company has achieved the ranking. BloombergNEF’s Tier 1 assessment evaluates manufacturers on technology capability, project execution, financial stability, and bankability, making it a key benchmark in the global energy storage sector. LONGi said the recognition highlights its ability to deliver reliable and bankable energy storage solutions worldwide. The company offers storage systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. A major factor behind the ranking is LONGi’s self-developed 5S technology framework covering PCS, BMS, EMS, iCCS, and TMS, enabling improved system efficiency, operational stability, and long-term performance across diverse applications.
