Linyang to Supply 275-MWh of Energy Storage Units to Mosty in Poland
Chinese energy technology firm Linyang Energy has agreed to supply 275 MWh of battery energy storage units to Polish developer Mosty Group. The systems will be deployed to strengthen grid stability, enable renewable energy integration, and enhance Poland’s energy security. The deal supports Linyang’s strategy of expanding into European markets with advanced storage solutions, while Mosty advances its clean energy infrastructure pipeline. Investment in high-capacity battery systems highlights the growing role of storage in balancing intermittent renewable generation. Customer focus is on delivering cost-effective, scalable solutions for utilities and grid operators. Benefits include emissions reduction, reduced fossil fuel dependence, improved grid flexibility, and progress toward Poland’s energy transition and decarbonisation goals.
PowerBank Advances Community Solar Projects in New York
PowerBank Corporation has secured all required municipal approvals for two community solar projects in Skaneateles, New York, located on industrial brownfield sites in Onondaga County. The projects will now move forward with seeking approval from the New York Department of Environmental Conservation to begin construction.
Once operational, the projects will deliver clean energy into the local grid, enabling renters and homeowners to reduce electricity costs through subscription-based credits without the need for rooftop solar panels.
With over 100 MW of completed projects and a 1 GW development pipeline, PowerBank is leveraging its expertise and partnerships to expand renewable energy infrastructure. The projects support New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act target of 6 GW of solar capacity by 2025. New York already leads the U.S. in community solar, representing nearly one-third of the country’s 6.2 GW installed capacity.
