This open-air shopping center can meet the growing need for electric vehicle charging stations by installing this eco-friendly facility at their premises.
It is to be noted that, the use of electric vehicles in New Jersey continues to grow.
The Promenade is a lifestyle center, designed with the busy shopper in mind. The addition of an electric vehicle charging station is another amenity to help make the shopping experience fast and convenient, said, Mark Pastrone, VP, business development, SemaConnect.
Station owners can easily position SemaConnect charging systems due to its networked electric vehicle charging stations and web-based management software.
The stations are sophisticated, networked Level II (240 Volts, 30Amps) commercial grade, attached with web-based management software.
With the help of this software, station owners can manage time-of-use rating with built-in payment gateway, manage sustainability reports on fossil fuel and carbon emissions, view real-time electricity metering and tackle electric vehicle driver usage.
SemaConnect has an iPhone and Android smart phone app to manage charging sessions, search for stations, and manage their accounts for EV drivers.
It has partnered with Recargo on their PlugShare app, the application which allows drivers to start a charging session right from the PlugShare app.
