Kandi technologies to sell 700 EVs in Guangzhou City

Kandi Technologies have announced that its subsidiary firm Zhejiang JiHeKang has signed a contract with Guangzhou MingZhi, a local auto distributor for the sale of 700 Kandi brand electric vehicles in Guangzhou City of China during the month of November.

These 700 Kandi brand EVs include both 550 SMA7000BEV and 150 SMA7001BEV models.

The sales revenue for the entire EV fleet is estimated at approximately RMB 90.2 million (USD 14.5 million).

Guangzhou Mingzhi will promote and implement EV leasing businesses in Guangzhou market.

Kandi approached a local auto distributor in Chinese market as part of its effective marketing strategy.

Kandi wanted to enhance the market visibility of its brand, including more renewable energy automobile pilot cities to the promotion and purchase scheme.

Guangzhou is one of the national renewable energy automobile pilot cities.

A purchaser of Kandi’s two EV models will receive the same amount of subsidy payment from both the national government and the local government.

Kandi Electric Vehicles has completed the sale and delivery of 1,000 Kandi brand electric vehicles to ZuoZhongYou (Chengdu) Electric Vehicle Service on December 16.

The sales revenue for the 1,000 EVs is approximately RMB 133 million (USD 21.5 million) including 500 of each SMA7000BEV and SMA7001BEV, which will be used for the newly launched Car-Share Program.

Guangzhou is known as a national transportation hub and trading port.

Since 1957, Guangzhou hosts the Canton Fair in spring and autumn each year, displaying a wide range of exported and imported varieties visited by global customers.
