Gladstein Neandross & Associates (GNA) has announced a strategic partnership between its annual Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, North America and the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA).

The annual ACT Expo will take place in Dallas, Texas from May 4-7, which is considered as North America’s largest clean fleet event.

EDTA is a cross-industry trade association that promotes and manages electric vehicle technology on the road for sustainable mobility.

The Expo will gather around 4,000 conference attendees and 250 sponsors and exhibitors to evaluate the latest vehicle technologies including electric drive, hybrid, hydrogen, natural gas, propane auto-gas, renewables, and efficiency technologies.

Through the US, a record sale of electric-drive vehicles is experienced, with the number of plug-in vehicles on American roads growing by 89 percent from this time last year, stated, Erik Neandross, CEO, GNA.

Working with EDTA, the 2015 event in Dallas will have a better showcase of all things transportation electrification added with AFV technologies, explained Neandross.

Highlighting ACT Expo’s fuel neutral attitude, this partnership focuses on giving out an electric drive agenda factor to prove how the industry is meeting growing charging infrastructure demand.

The Expo will showcase a wide range of hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell vehicle technologies, providing an exposure platform for EDTA’s members to reach global audience of public and private fleets, OEMs, engineers, policy makers and authorities.

Electric drive vehicles are helping to advance American energy security, environmental sustainability, and independence from a monopoly fuel, said, Brian Wynne, president, EDTA.

The Expo publicity within the EV market will promote awareness and benefits of electrified transportation to a broader audience, helping to connect with fleet operators at a single platform, added Wynne.

The Expo indicates a growing trend among alternative fuel industry associations collaborating with ACT Expo to advance the clean transportation market. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has signed on as a third-time presenting sponsor. Further high-level industry cooperation will come out in coming weeks.
