Drivers can try various EVs on a first-come, first-served basis feeling the differences between an EV and a gas-powered car.

Besides, those taking test drives will get a $5 gift card that can be redeemed for food at local restaurants.
The campaign’s goal is to intensify EV promotion in the nine counties of Bay Area.

There is no pressure or sales promotion in this event. This is only a chance to try an EV and have some electric experience, said, Jordan DiGiorgio, project manager, Experience Electric.

Experience Electric is a joint initiative of MTC, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and a consortium of EV organizations including the Center for Sustainable Energy, Plug In America and Charge Across Town.

Accelerating EV use is a prime strategy for governments to improve air quality and achieve greenhouse gas emission minimizing goal.
