Nordex Secures 39 MW Lütau 2 Repowering Order in Germany to Boost Wind Capacity

Nordex Group has secured a 39 MW turbine order from NeXtWind for the Lütau 2 repowering project in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, supporting the expansion of onshore wind capacity. The project will deploy seven N149/5.X turbines on 125-metre towers, showcasing advanced turbine technology and improved efficiency. The contract includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement, ensuring long-term reliability and optimized performance. Once completed, the project will increase the total capacity of the Lütau site to 68.4 MW. Scheduled for commissioning in summer 2027, the project aligns with NeXtWind’s growth strategy and Germany’s renewable energy goals, accelerating the transition to a low-carbon power system

TotalEnergies, Masdar Launch $2.2bn Asia Renewable JV to Scale Solar, Wind and Storage

TotalEnergies and Masdar have signed a $2.2bn joint venture to expand onshore renewable energy across Asia, marking a major strategic investment in high-growth markets. The 50/50 partnership combines 3GW of operational assets and a 6GW development pipeline spanning nine countries, including Japan, Indonesia and South Korea. The JV will focus on solar, wind and battery storage, supporting electrification and energy security while accelerating decarbonisation. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the platform will leverage shared expertise, scale and financing to drive project delivery by 2030. This move strengthens both companies’ global growth strategies, enhances portfolio diversification and positions them to capture rising electricity demand across Asia’s rapidly expanding clean energy markets.

Enviromena Begins 90MWp Solar Projects in Shropshire to Boost UK Clean Energy Capacity

Enviromena has started construction on two solar farms in Shropshire, delivering a combined 90MWp capacity as part of the UK’s renewable energy expansion strategy. Backed by Contracts for Difference (CfD), the Rock Farm and Steeraway projects highlight strong investment in secure, homegrown power generation. The projects will deploy nearly 125,000 solar modules, generating around 90,000MWh annually — enough to power 33,000 homes while cutting over 15,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. With module installation set for summer 2026 and commissioning by year-end, the initiative underscores Enviromena’s growth strategy, technological deployment at scale, and commitment to delivering affordable, low-carbon energy solutions for UK consumers.
