Carbon Clean has unveiled the CycloneCC C1 series, a breakthrough carbon capture solution that can capture up to 100,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year. The C1 series is modular and columnless, achieving a 70 percent height reduction and 50 percent smaller footprint compared to traditional carbon capture plants.

The CycloneCC C1 uses Rotating Packed Bed (RPB) technology and Carbon Clean’s proprietary APBS-CDRMax solvent. This innovative setup reduces the plant size, enhances CO₂ absorption, and decreases the need for steel by 35 percent, lowering the unit’s carbon footprint.

Designed for small- to midsize emitters, CycloneCC C1 is prefabricated and skid-mounted, simplifying transport and installation. This design can cut carbon capture costs by up to 50 percent, addressing space constraints faced by over 50 percent of industrial emitters.

Carbon Clean’s APBS-CDRMax solvent achieves significant operational savings, reducing energy demand by 10-25 percent, corrosion by 20 times, and solvent degradation by 10 times, with a lifespan five times longer than conventional solvents.

Early adopters of the CycloneCC C1 series can benefit from immediate decarbonization results and phased capital investment, positioning them as priority customers for future commercial rollouts.
