TrinaTracker Completes 210MW PV Project in Brazil with Smart Tracking Solutions

TrinaTracker, a business unit of TrinaSolar, has supplied a 210MW photovoltaic (PV) project in Brazil with smart tracking solutions.

The project, located in Mauriti, Ceara, was developed by POWERCHINA and is poised to significantly impact the local economy and employment sector.

TrinaTracker’s smart tracking solution for the project includes the Vanguard 1P tracker, an artificial intelligence system named SuperTrack, and the digital tracker-level SCADA platform Trina Smart Cloud. This three-in-one solution, encompassing hardware, software, and a service platform, has gained popularity in the region for its outstanding performance in enhancing energy yield and construction efficiency.

The Mauriti project, set in a region with vast land resources and abundant natural potential, is expected to create over 2,000 jobs upon completion and commissioning. Furthermore, it is anticipated to contribute to cumulative economic growth valued at $140 million. The initiative has garnered widespread support from the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency, state and local governments, and the local community.
