Vestas has received a 73 MW order from PAK-Polska Czysta Energia for the Czluchow wind power project in Northern Poland.

This is Vestas’ first agreement with PAK-Polska Czysta Energia, a subsidiary of ZEPAK.

The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of 33 V110-2.2 MW turbines installed at a hub height of 120m. Vestas will also service the turbines under a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

William Gaillard, Vice President for Vestas Sales East & BD, said: “The Czluchow project proves Vestas’ commitment to create value across the supply chain in Poland, as all towers will be produced locally.”

Deliveries and installation at the Czluchow wind project are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023, while commissioning is planned for the first quarter of 2024, said Andrzej Janiszowski, Chief Strategy Officer for ZEPAK.
