Vestas Secures Major Order for Anglarna Wind Project in Sweden

Vestas, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, has announced a significant milestone with the receipt of a firm order from OX2 Construction for the prestigious Anglarna wind power project in Sweden.

The comprehensive order encompasses 18 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, strategically configured in a 6.4 MW power optimised mode.

The scope includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of these advanced turbines, reflecting Vestas’ commitment to providing advanced renewable energy solutions. Post-completion, Vestas will ensure the seamless operation and performance of these turbines through a 35-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Anna Schlasberg Wachtmeister, Vice President NCE Sales North and West at Vestas, highlighted the collaborative effort between Vestas and OX2 over the years.

The timeline for this wind power project is set with turbine delivery anticipated to commence in the second quarter of 2026. The commissioning phase is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026, underscoring the swift progression toward a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.
