Vestas has secured a 384 MW order for the second phase of DTEK’s Tyligulska wind energy project in Ukraine, complementing the 114 MW order for Tyligulska I commissioned in 2023.

The wind power project will feature 64 wind turbines, bringing the total capacity to 498 MW across both phases, making it Ukraine’s largest wind energy initiative.

DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko emphasized the project’s significance in building a resilient energy infrastructure and delivering on climate commitments amid challenges.

The initiative receives robust support from Denmark, Ukraine, and the EU, backed by EIFO’s financial guarantee.

EIFO CEO Peder Lundquist reaffirmed the fund’s commitment to renewable energy in Ukraine, supporting over 15 projects across key sectors.

Vestas will provide a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement. Turbine deliveries will commence in Q1 2025, with project completion expected by Q4 2026.
