RWE Innogy sells wind farm in Lower Saxony to Luxembourg special fund

RWE Innogy, a subsidiary of German utility RWE, has sold Sandbostel wind farm to Luxembourg special fund FP Lux Investments SICAV-SIF.

Construction of the project located in the German state Lower Saxony began this spring and is being headed by RWE Innogy.

It has five Enercon E-92 wind turbines with capacity of 2.35 MW each. The project is expected to be grid connected at the end of October.

Sandbostel has total installed capacity of about 12 MW. RWE Innogy is responsible for the final work in Sandbostel and subsequent technical management of the systems.

The FP Lux Group holds a volume of approximately 400 MW of wind and solar projects in Germany and other European countries.
