Smart energy solutions provider Envision Energy is to install five of its turbines in La Esperanza Wind Farm in Negrete Municipality, Chile.

The turbines of EN110-2.1MW model will be mounted on 100m hubs, the company has stated.

Envision had made its maiden delivery in Chile at the Ucuquer II wind farm less than a year ago.

According to Rafael Valdez Mingramm, the company’s director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Chile is set to become the regional hub of Envision considering the country’s strong commitment to renewable energy development, goals for 2020, favorable regulation, and stability. The country also has good wind resource, qualified technicians and infrastructure.

Envision is to complete the supply, transport and installation of the turbines by March 31, 2016. The company will also carry out operation and maintenance of the project.
