Greentech Lead India: WAAREE Energies, operating in
the field of manufacturing solar PV modules, design engineering, procurement,
construction, operation and maintenance of solar PV power plants, has
awarded a project order of 5.75 MW thin film solar PV power plant for Shree
Saibaba sugar factory, Latur, Maharashtra, India.
“We are delighted to develop this important project
for Shree Saibaba sugar factory. It is our honour and represents an important
milestone for us. Apart from EPC and EPCM services, we assure our
customers of very high quality of overall work,” said Hitesh Doshi,
chairman of WAAREE Group.
This power project is the first step in Maharashtra
towards solar power.

confidence in them. This power plant will be one of its kind in Maharashtra,

sugar factory.
WAAREE Energies connects 5 MW PV power plant for Greentech in Rajasthan
Recently, WAAREE connected a 5 MW PV power plant for Greentech Power in Rajasthan, India. The plant is using crystalline PV modules manufactured and supplied from WAAREE’s Surat plant. The plant is operating at full capacity and has injected about 1 million units in its first month of operation.
Maharashtra government to set up 3 Solar energy plants
In April Greentech Lead reported that Maharashtra state
government is looking for land in Marathwada region to set up three solar
energy plants as part of its efforts to augment electricity generation in the
state.
Three plants of 50 MW each would be set up in Osmanabad and Parbhani.
