India solar panel manufacturer Waaree Energies has introduced high performance WSM-345 monocrystalline solar modules.

The modules have recorded efficiency of 17.8 percent with positive power tolerance.

They also have lower Light Induced Degradation (LID) and offer higher return on investment with more watts-per-module.

According to a statement, the “best-in-class efficiency” of the modules ensures savings on balance-of-system and the space required for installation.

Earlier this month, Warree Energies launched its first plug and play solar park in India. The 30 megawatt Sunbless Solar Park project is spread out on 150 acres at Murtizapur, near Akola in Maharashtra.

The project offers facilities including approach road, fencing, water supply, common infrastructure support and resources.

At present a 5 MW project is under construction at the park and it is set for commissioning by September.

In July the company had announced that their order book exceeded 200 MW by end of Q1 this year.
