Trina Solar on Tuesday announced the launch of two new modules, a multi-crystalline Honey Plus (PC05A (II)) and a mono-crystalline Honey M Plus (DC05A (II)) to its product line.
These modules feature Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (PERC) technology, enabling better energy production and performance even in low light environments.
Both modules offer average power outputs of 275W and 285W, respectively.
In addition, these modules are equipped with an advanced 5-busbar technology which enables them to offer lower series resistance benefit and increased Cell-to-Module ratio (CTM).
Moreover, the cell efficiency offered by Honey Plus (PC05A (II)) is 18.7 percent whereas it is 20.4 percent for Honey M Plus (DC05A (II)).
The two modules will be available in markets from 2016.
Last week, Trina Solar announced the grid connection of its 90 MW solar power plant located in Toksun, Xinjiang province, China.
Approximately 300,000 of Trina Solar’s high efficiency modules having 295 Wp to 310 Wp outputs were installed in the 90 MW solar power plant.
