SunPower Corporation has appointed Eduardo Medina as executive vice president of power plants – with global responsibilities.
Medina, who earlier worked with public and private companies including Acciona Energia and General Electric, will be based in Lyon, France.
Most recently, Medina served as executive managing director and head of business development for Acciona Energia, a provider of infrastructure, energy, water and sustainable services. Prior to this position, he was Acciona’s Asia director and director of Middle East North Africa and the Mediterranean region.
SunPower Corporation says he also held leadership roles at General Electric in the Power Generation unit, Gamesa Eolica.
