Strata Solar and Chint/Astronergy start Solar farm in North Carolina

By
Greentech Lead Team: Strata Solar and Chint/Astronergy announced the launch of
one of the largest solar farms in North Carolina.

Chint/Astronergy
said it was selected to provide modules for use in the largest solar PV
project.

Strata
Solar and Chint/Astronergy used 22,000 panels to complete the 5 megawatt solar
power plant. The new power plant will generate enough clean energy to
offset the electricity usage of over 600 average homes.

“Kings
Mountain Solar is a strong example of how sustainability has transformed into a
mainstream, economic force across the state. We are thrilled to work with
Chint/Astronergy in fostering environmental responsibility and bringing clean
energy and employment growth to North Carolina,” said Markus Wilhelm,
chief executive officer of Strata Solar.

Now
established as a competitive energy resource, solar power continues to attract
more investors enabling larger projects to be developed. Strata Solar is well
positioned to implement the growing solar demand and has other large solar
development projects in their pipeline, with many slated to use
Chint/Astronergy solar panels.

Strata
Solar provides a full array of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)
services, separately, as needed, to solar developers and companies interested
in clean, renewable energy.
