SSNCEPL launches new manufacturing facility at Pune

The Shree Sai Non Conventional Energy (SSNCEPL) has set up its manufacturing plant at Pune for assembling solar energy products for varied businesses like Agriculture, Cooking, Security, Hospitality and Construction and Infrastructure.

The company focuses on manufacturing exclusive products for Indian rural market segment as well as caters to the demands of the general renewable energy sector.

Products like Solar Water Pumps can be used by farmers for irrigation purposes and Solar Power Packs help in giving back-up during power cuts.

Similarly, Solar Fans, Solar Cookers & Solar Lanterns can be used by people residing in rural as well as urban areas.

Besides, solar Street Lights, Solar Fencing, Solar Home Lighting & Solar Water Heaters are useful in Construction & Infrastructure industries.

Currently, India is facing a huge energy shortage and this facility is set up to bridge the gap between a customer and the sources of energy supply. Since rural India suffers from a major backdrop in terms of energy, these solar products will help them fight energy shortage issues, said, S.L. Shrivastav, chairman, SSNCEPL during the inaugural ceremony.

The company has invested Rs. 10 crore in the facility aiming to achieve Rs. 100 crore turnover by year 2019.

SSNCEPL has set up sales offices in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and has plans to enter the Southern India region in the coming years.

With the recent boost given to the Solar Energy sector by the Indian Government, the future of SSNCEPL looks positive in the coming years. The state-of-the-art facilities backed up by a team of experienced R&D professionals and an in-house Testing Lab will help to deliver quality products to future customers, noted, Ritesh Shrivastav, director, SSNCEPL.

The company’s products are designed keeping in mind the requirements of the Indian market, focusing on the current global trends and technologies in solar equipment.

It aims to participate in Kisan Agri Show to showcase the customized product range for agriculture and rural market.
