Ardagh Glass and CI Renewables Near Completion of Solar Facility in California

Ardagh Glass Packaging and CI Renewables are nearing completion of a 13-MW solar facility in Madera, California, which will supply 20 percent of the electricity for Ardagh’s glass manufacturing site. The facility, set to be operational by March, will reduce demand from the local grid and is expected to power the equivalent of more than 2,500 homes.

vHive Gets FAA Approval for Autonomous Drone Solar Inspections

vHive has received FAA authorization to use autonomous drones for solar farm inspections in the U.S. The multi-drone technology will allow solar operators to cover large areas more quickly, detect anomalies, and improve operational efficiency. Cenergy Power secured a preferred equity investment from Aiga Capital Partners to support its 300+ MW solar portfolio. The investment will aid Cenergy’s efforts in expanding its solar operations, focusing on utility-scale, community, and commercial solar projects across the U.S.
