Schneider Electric Solar Business (SESB) has launched its Conext CL, a new line of three-phase string inverters.

In a statement SESB said that the context CL meets the needs of a wide range of customer needs and is the ideal solution for commercial building, decentralized power plants and carports.

Context CL, a light weight inverter, is highly flexible with an integrated wiring box and five configuration options that give customers the installation flexibility. The new series also helps customers save money by eliminating the cost of external DC combiner box.

SESB said the new series has an electrolyte-free design. It has also passed Schneider Electric’s rigorous Multiple Environmental over Stress Testing procedure, which is identified as one of the toughest testing processes in the industry.

The new series will be available in 20kW and 25kW for IEC and 18kW and 20 kW for North America.

“Conext CL is built for decentralized architecture, with full grid support features, broad range of Schneider Electric’s low and medium voltage products and industry leading system capabilities, and backed by Schneider Electric’s global service infrastructure and expertise in energy management,” the company said.
